We hereby certify that we have examined the accounts of the Selectmen, Overseers of the Poor, School Committee and Treasurer of the town of Palmer, and find them correct in every particular.

Town Warrant.
COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS, HAMPDEN
SS.
To Ilerbert A. Northrop, Constable of the Town of Palmer.
GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and warn all the inhabitants of the town of Palmer qual- ified to vote in elections and town affairs to meet at the Town House, in said Palmer, on Monday, the nineteenth day of March current, at 9 o'clock a. m., to act on the following articles, viz. :
ARTICLE 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
ART. 2. To elect all necessary town officers for the ensuing year.
ART. 3. To vote by ballot, which shall be Yes or No, in answer to the question, "Shall licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in this town ?"
ART. 4. To act on the reports of the town officers.
ART. 5. To raise money and make appropriations to defray the expenses of the town for the ensuing year.
ART. 6. To see if the town will authorize its treasurer to borrow money in anticipation of the taxes for the ensuing year, the same to be paid from said taxes.
ART. 7. To see if the town will authorize its treasurer to borrow money not to be paid from the taxes of the ensuing year.
ART. 8. To hear and act on reports of committees.
ART. 9. To choose committees and give them instructions.
ART. 10. To see if the town will allow a discount and determine what. interest shall be paid on the taxes to be assessed for the ensuing year.
ART. 11. To determine the manner and state the terms and conditions of collecting the taxes for the ensuing year, and fix the compensation of the collector of taxes.
ART. 12. To determine the manner of repairing the highways and bridges for the ensuing year.
ART. 13. To see if the town will raise and appropriate money to sup- press the illegal sale of intoxicating liquors.
ART. 14. To act on the list of jurors as prepared by the selectmen.
ART. 15. To see if the town will raise money for the Young Men's Library Association.
ART. 16. To see if the town will raise money to convey pupils to and from the public schools, and instruct the school committee as to the manner of letting the contract for such conveyance.
ART. 17. To see if the town will raise money for the celebration of Memorial Day.
ART. 18. To see what action the town will take in relation to sewers.
ART. 19. To see what action the town will take in regard to lighting its streets, and whether it will authorize the selectinen to make contract therefor.
ART. 20. To see what action the town will take in reference to the preservation of shade trees.
ART. 21. To see if the town will raise and appropriate the sum of three hundred dollars for necessary aid to soldiers and sailors and their families. and the families of the slain, and entrust the same to L L. Merrick Post of the Grand Army of the Republic, under the provisions of Chap. 189, Acts of the year 1885.
ART 22. To see what action the town will take regarding any snit now pending against the town.
ART. 23. To see if the town will vote to hire or purchase a stone crusher and steam roller, and raise money for the same.

ART. 24. To see if the town will vote to give the Palmer Cemetery Association full control of the cemetery at the depot village.
ART. 25. To see if the town will vote to purchase a fire bell, 500 feet of new hose, and make improvements on engine house and raise money for the same.
ART. 26. To see if the town will vote to extend the Park street sewer from Maple to School street.
ART. 27. To see what action the town will take in relation to medical attendance for the poor.
ART. 28. To see if the town will raise and appropriate a sum of money to establish and maintain a library to be owned by the town, the same to be managed by a board of trustees under the provisions of Chap. 304, Acts of the year 1888.
ART. 29. To see if the town will vote to purchase the lot on Central street opposite the library, and build a Town House thereon, and raise money for the same.
ART. 30. To see if the town will vote to pay the expense of interments in the Catholic cemeteries the same as in the other cemeteries of the town, or take any other action regarding interments.
ART. 31. To see if the town will authorize its board of health to make and enforce in the town such regulations as the board may deem necessary for the safety and health of the people with reference to house drainage and its connection with public sewers, where a public sewer abuts the estate to be drained.
ART. 32. To see if the town will accept and allow a road as laid out by the selectmen in the depot village and described as follows : Beginning at an iron pin in the ground on the northerly side of Central street and the south- west corner of land of Rufus Flynt; thence N. 301° W. 50} rods to an iron pin in the ground 2 rods and 22 links westerly from the southerly corner of the cemetery ; thence W. 453º N. 18 rods and 4 links to Thorndike street at a point 1} rods northerly from the westerly corner of said cemetery Said road is laid out three rods wide on the westerly side of the hne described.
ART. 33. To see if the town will authoriz . the selectmen to appoint such officers as they may deem necessary to maintain order upon the streets and sidewalks of the different villages.
ART. 34. To see if the town will vote to pay a portion of the costs of sidewalks, and authorize the selectinen to order them built where they may be deemed necessary.
ART. 35. To see if the town will vote to fill and grade the road from the Baptist church to the iron bridge in Three Rivers, and appropriate money for the samne.
ART. 36. To see if the town will vote to drain Main street in the village of Thorndike from corner of School street to the pine grove, and appropriate money for the same.
ART 37. To see if the town will vote to drain Main street in the village of Three Rivers from near the residence of C. P. Haynes to Charles street and appropriate money for the same.
ART. 38. To see if the town will vote to erect two electric lights in the village of Thorndike, one on Commercial street near the post office, and the other in front of the residence of Mrs. Cornelins McAuliff on Main street.
The polls will be open at nine o'clock a. m., and may be closed at one o'clock p. m.
And you are hereby directed to serve this warrant by posting up attested copies thereof at the different public places designated by the vote of the town, seven days at least before the holding of said meeting, and cause this warrant to be printed in the Palmer Journal at least two issues before the holding of said meeting.
Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant, with your doings thereon, to the town clerk, on or before the holding of said meeting.
