BRIDGES.

The work on the bridges of the town has been more than was expected. The bridge near the Wire Mill broke down and an entirely new bridge has been built at that place at a cost of $591.14, of which Monson pays one-half. The bridge near B. F. Emery's was in such shape that an entirely new floor and one side have been put in. A new bridge has been bought for Three Rivers, and is nearly completed.

The appropriation for the Commercial street sewer was $1,000. It was found that a sewer of suitable size and construction could not be built for that amount, and it was decided best to build a double ring brick sewer three feet in diameter, at a cost of $1,600, which is nearly completed, and will be finished as soon as the frost is out of the ground.
