hundred eight and 65/100 (408.65) feet a distance of two hund- red twenty-five and 83/100 (225.83) feet to an iron pin in the ground; thence southeasterly along a reversed curve of radius one hundred seventy-five and 00/100 (175.00) feet a distance of one hundred fifty-two and 72/100 (152.72) feet to an iron pin in the ground; thence S 45° 27' E a distance of approximately five hundred eighty and 20/100 (580.20) feet to the westerly terminus of said Buckland Street; thence southwesterly along said Back- land Street to the iron pin at the point of beginning; said street to be fifty (50) feet in width and is to be known as Longview Street Extension. Said town way is laid out over land supposed to belong to Ralph A. Manley.

To see if the town will accept and allow a town way in the Depot Village of Palmer as shown on plan entitled "Plan Showing Layout of Riverview Street, Depot Village, Pre- cinct A, Town of Palmer", dated November 21, 1951, prepared by T. D. Crimmins, C. E., Town Engineer, according to the following description: Beginning at the point of intersection of the north- westerly line of Conant Street and the westerly terminus of the 1941 acceptance of Riverview Parkway; thence N 62° 14' W three hundred thirty-eight and 92/100 (338.92) feet to a point in the easterly line of Strong Street; thence S 45° 12' W along said easterly line of Strong Street fifty-two and 41/100 (52.41) feet to a concrete bound; thence S 62° 14' E three hundred fifty-four and 62/100 (354.62) feet to the terminus of the 1941 acceptance of Riverview Parkway; thence N 27° 46' E along said terminus of the 1941 acceptance of Riverview Parkway a distance of fifty (50) feet to the point of beginning; said street to be fifty (50) feet in width and is to be known as Riverview Street. Said town way is laid out over land supposed to belong to H. F. C. Merriam; to see if the town will vote to take in fee, for highway purposes, the land above described, and raise and appropriate any sum of money for the purpose of taking said land and paying compen- sation therefor to the owners thereof.


Article 88. To see if the town will accept and allow a town way in the village of Three Rivers as shown on plan entitled "Plan Showing Layout of Cedar Street in Three Rivers, Pre- cinct C, Town of Palmer", dated November 22, 1951, prepared by T. D. Crimmins, C. E., Town Engineer, according to the fol- lowing description: Beginning at an iron pin in the northerly line of Ford Street, said iron pin being located six hundred sixty (660) feet southeasterly measured along the northerly line of said Ford Street from the concrete bound marking the easterly line of Quaboag Street; thence southeasterly along said northerly line of Ford Street thirty (30) feet to an iron pin; thence northeasterly at right angles to the northerly line of said Ford Street a distance of five hundred fifty (550) feet to an iron pin

in the southerly line of a private street known as Cheney Street; thence northwesterly along the southerly line of said Cheney Street forty (40) feet to an iron pin; thence southeasterly along an arc of radius ten (10) feet a distance of fifteen and 7/10 (15.7) feet to an iron pin; thence southwesterly a distance of five hundred forty (540) feet to the point of beginning; said street is laid out thirty (30) feet in width and is to be known as Cedar Street. Said town way is laid out over land supposed to belong to the Three Rivers Fire District, Town of Palmer; to see if the town will take in fee, for highway purposes, the land above described, and raise and appropriate any sum of money for the purpose of taking said land and paying compensation therefor to the owners thereof.


Article 89. To see if the town will accept and allow a town way in the village of Three Rivers as shown on plan entitled "Plan Showing Layout of Cheney Street in Three Rivers, Pre- cinct C, Town of Palmer", dated November 21, 1951, prepared by T. D. Crimmins, C. E., Town Engineer, according to the following description: Beginning at an iron pin in the easterly line of Quaboag Street, said iron pin being located northeasterly a distance of five hundred fifty (550) feet from the concrete bound marking the point of intersection of the easterly line of said Quaboag Street and the northerly line of Ford Street; thence at right angles to the easterly line of said Quaboag Street a distance of six hundred ninety (690) feet to an iron pin; thence north- easterly at right angles to said last described line a distance of thirty (30) feet to an iron pin; thence northwesterly in a line parallel to and thirty (30) feet distant from the first described line a distance of six hundred ninety (690) feet to an iron pin in the easterly side of said Quaboag Street; thence southwesterly along the easterly line of said Quaboag Street a distance of thirty (30) feet to the point of beginning; said street is to be known as Cheney Street. Said town way is laid out over land supposed to belong to the Three Rivers Fire District, Town of Palmer; to see if the town will take in fee, for highway purposes, the land above described, and raise and appropriate any sum of money for the purpose of taking said land and paying compen- sation therefor to the owners thereof.


Article 90. To see if the town will accept and allow a town way in the Depot Village, as shown as Temple Street on plan entitled "Plan of Lots owned by C. W. Hastings and Co., Palmer, Mass.", made by Durkee, White & Towne, Engrs., dated April 1900, according to the following description: Beginning at an iron pin in the westerly line of North Main Street, said pin being located a distance of two hundred (200) feet measured northerly along said westerly line of North Main Street from the point of intersection of the northerly line of Bowden Street and said

westerly line of North Main Street; thence at right angles to said westerly line of North Main Street a distance of four hundred sixty (460) feet to the easterly line of a private street known as Mechanic Street; thence northerly at right angles to last de- scribed line and along the easterly line of said Mechanic Street a distance of forty-seven and 8/10 (47.8) feet to a point; thence southeasterly a distance of four hundred sixty (460) feet, more or less, to a point on the westerly line of said North Main Street, said point being thirty-three (33) feet distant measured along said North Main Street from the point of beginning; thence southerly along said North Main Street thirty-three (33) feet to the point of beginning. The above described way or street is laid over land set aside to be used as a way or street by C. W. Hast- ings & Company, as shown on above described plan, recorded with Hampden County Deeds, Book of Plans 1, Page 203. Said street is to be known as Temple Street. Said town way is laid out over land supposed to belong to Henry T. Dobson; to see if the town will vote to take in fee, for highway purposes, the land above described, and raise and appropriate any sum of money for the purpose of taking said land and paying compensation therefor to the owners thereof.


Article 91. To see if the town will accept and allow a town way in the Depot Village, of Palmer as shown on plan entitled "Plan Showing Layout of Alden Street, Depot Village, Precinct A, Town of Palmer", dated November 26, 1951, prepared by T. D. Crimmins, C. E., Town Engineer, according to the following description: Beginning at an iron pin in the ground in the west- erly line of Winthrop Street, said pin being located S 24° 57' W a distance of one hundred fifty-four and 34/100 (154.34) feet from the concrete bound marking the point of intersection of the westerly line of said Winthrop Street and the southerly line of Cabot Street; thence S 24° 57' W along said westerly line of Winthrop Street a distance of fifty (50) feet to an iron pin· thence N 65° 03' W a distance of two hundred ninety (290) feet to an iron pin; thence N 24° 57' E a distance of three hundred forty and 42/100 (340.42) feet to a concrete bound in the southerly line of said Cabot Street; thence S 39° 54' E along the southerly line of said Cabot Street a distance of fifty-five and 24/100 (55.24) feet to an iron pin; thence S 24° 57' W a distance of two hundred sixty-six and 94/100 (266.94) feet to an iron pin; thence S 65° 03' E a distance of two hundred forty (240) feet to the point of beginning; said street to be fifty (50) feet in width and is to be known as Alden Street. Said town way is laid out over land supposed to belong to Crimmins Realty Corporation.

And you are hereby directed to serve this warrant by posting up attested copies thereof in some one public place in each of the four villages of the town, known as the Depot Village, Thorndike, Three Rivers and Bondsville, seven days at least before the hold- ing of said meeting and by publishing an attested copy thereof in at least two issues of the Journal-Register, a newspaper pub- lished in said Palmer, the first publication to be not less than seven days before the holding of said meeting.


Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk at or before the holding of said meeting.
