Article 16. To see if the town will vote to purchase for the Police Department the following :
(a) Two (2) Police Cruisers
(b) Radio equipment for police cruisers, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.
Article 17. To see if the town will vote to accept the follow- ing Perpetual Care Funds which have been given to it during the year: George R. Shaw $100.00; Rebecca R. Flynt $200.00; Henry W. Young $150.00; Grover C. Goodes $100.00; Effie M. Scott $100.00; Olive Ritchie $100.00; E. L. Merriam $200.00; Charles E. Zerbe $200.00.
Article 18. To see if the town will vote to raise and appro- priate any sum of money for the purchase and installation of street signs in the several villages of the town, or take any action relative thereto.
Article 19. To see if the town will vote to raise and appro- priate any sum of money for the purchase of the following pieces of equipment for the use of the Highway Department:
(a) 1 Pickup Truck;
(b) 1 Dump Truck;
(c) 1 ten-foot snow plow;
(d) 1 snow blower,
or take any action relative thereto.
Article 20. To see if the town will vote to raise and appro- priate any sum of money for the installation of flashing signal lights at one railroad crossing on Quaboag and Ford Streets in the Village of Three Rivers and to improve the railroad crossing grade at said location, said money to be used in conjunction with monies appropriated under Article. 47 of the Warrant calling the Annual Town Meeting of February 9, 1959, or take any action relative thereto.
Article 21. To see if the town will vote to raise and appro- priate any sum of money for preliminary engineering services concerning sewerage system and sewage disposal problem in the several villages of the town and the preparation of an appli- cation for an advance of funds under the provisions of Public Law 560, or take any action relative thereto.

Article 22. To see if the town will vote to authorize the selectmen to appoint a committee of nine to determine the feasability of constructing a new building which would serve to house various branches of the town, county and judiciary, includ- ing an appropriate hall in which to conduct town meetings and raise and appropriate any sum of money for the use of said committee, or take any action relative thereto.
Article 23. To see if the town will vote to authorize the selectmen to sell, raze or otherwise dispose of the Town Meeting House, building only, located on land owned by the town at Four Corners, and raise and appropriate any sum of money for said purpose, or take any action relative thereto.
Article 24. To see if the town will vote to raise and appro- priate $2000.00, or any other sum, for the express purpose of decorating and beautifying the Villages of Bondsville, Thorndike, Three Rivers and Depot Village during the Christmas season, or take any action relative thereto.
Article 25. To see if the town will vote that the moderator at a town meeting, Town of Palmer, when reading appropriations for any article, inform the people attending the said meeting, whether said appropriations are an increase over those of the previous year, or a decrease in those of the previous year. Also that such new appropriations, increases or decreases, be printed in the Annual Reports of the Town Officers of the Town of Palmer and of the Receipts and Expenditures, for the year ending Decem- ber 31st.
Article 26. To see if the Town will accept and allow a town footway in the village of Bondsville, Palmer, Massachusetts, as shown on plan entitled "Plan showing Layout of Right-of-Way for sidewalk and stairs, High Street and Stewart Street, Village of Bondsville, Prepared by T. D. Crimmins (former Town En- gineer) as Laid Out By the Selectmen".
Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to abandon and authorize the Selectmen to petition the Hampden County Com- missioners to discontinue a certain portion of Fenton Street, Depot Village, Town of Palmer, lying Southwesterly of the Boston & Albany Railroad, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a rail bound at the intersection of the Northerly side of Fen- ton Street, and the Southwesterly line of the Boston & Albany Railroad Company, said bound is at the Westerly corner of the December 17, 1947, County discontinuance of said street, and running thence Southeasterly about eighty-four (84) feet along the Southwesterly side of said 1947 discontinuance to a point at land of the New England Metal Culvert Company: thence turn- ing and running Westerly sixty-nine and 57/100 (69.57) feet along said land of New England Metal Culvert Company to a point; thence turning and running Northerly with an internal angle of

90° to the last course, forty-nine and 5/10 (49.5) feet crossing said Fenton Street to the Point of Beginning; or take any action relative thereto.
Article 28. Article 36. To see if the town will vote to widen and repair North Street, Village of Three Rivers from Bridge Street, North- erly on the Westerly side for a distance of approximately five hundred (500) feet, and raise and appropriate any sum: of money therefor.
Article 37. To see if the town will vote to widen and re- construct Griffin Street, Village of Bondsville, from Cavin Street to railroad tracks and remove any obstacles from said highway . and pay any damages for which the town might become liable, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor, or take any action relative thereto.
Article 38. To see if the town will vote to widen and repair , Main Street, also known as River Road, Village of Bondsville, from Maple Street to the Ware line and replace culverts where necessary, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor,
Article 39. To see if the town will vote to reconstruct and improve, with Type I material, State Street, Village of Bonds- ville, from end of present improved surface Easterly to inter- section of Jim Ashe Road, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.
Article 40 To see if the town will vote to reconstruct Main Street, Village of Bondsville, from property of Stanley Bak North- erly to Center Street, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.

Article 48. To see if the town will vote to repair right shoulder of Old Warren Road, Depot Village, beginning at the home of Joseph Zebrowski and running Westerly a distance of approximately one thousand (1000) feet, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.
Article 49. To see if the town will vote to reconstruct and resurface as necessary Chestnut Street, Depot Village, from South Main Street, Southerly to end of said street, and raise and arnmo- priate any sum of money therefor.
Article 50. To see if the town will vote to resurface Pearl Street, with Type I material, from Park Street, Southerly to Pleasant Street, Depot Village, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.
Article 51. To see if the town will vote to open and make passable the dead-end area of Mason District Road, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor, or take any action rela- tive thereto.

Article 52. To see if the town will vote to improve Vernon Street, Depot Village, from Buckland Street Westerly a distance of approximately three hundred eighty (380) feet, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.
Article 53. To see if the town will vote to resurface Rath- bone Street, Depot Village from Converse Street Northerly to the end of said street, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.
Article 54. To see if the town will vote to resurface Fletcher Street, Depot Village, entire length, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.
Article 55. To see if the town will vote to resurface Deborah Street, Depot Village, from end of present improved surface a distance of approximately five hundred (500) feet, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.
Article 56. To see if the town will vote to reconstruct and improve Shearer Street, Depot Village, from the intersection of Thorndike Street, Westerly to North Main Street, or as far as funds will permit, and raise and appropriate by taxation or otherwise any sum of money therefor, said sum to be used in conjunction with monies allotted by the Commonwealth of Massa- chusetts and the County of Hampden, or take any action relative thereto.
Article 57. To see if the town will vote to raise and appro- priate any sum of money for the construction of sewers, cul- verts and proper catch basins, or take any action relative thereto on the following projects :
(a) Sewer with necessary catch basins on Pleasant Street, Village of Thorndike, from end of presently existing sewer North- erly a distance of approximately thirteen hundred (1300) feet.
(b) Catch basin and drainage on Maple Terrace, Village of Three Rivers, near residence of Cole.
(c) Extend present surface sewer and install necessary catch basins on Oak Street, Village of Three Rivers, near resi- dence of Norman Charette.
(d) Necessary drainage and catch basins at intersection of Springfield, Bridge and Main Streets, Village of Three Rivers.
(e) Sewer, culverts and necessary catch basins on State Street, Village of Bondsville, from end of present sewer Easterly to intersection of Jim Ashe Road.
(f) Storm drainage, Oakland Street, Depot Village, from corner of Randall Street to end of accepted town way for a dis- tance of approximately one thousand (1000) feet.
(g) Storm drainage and catch basins as needed on Wilson Street, Depot Village, both sides.

Article 58. To see if the Town will vote to install, maintain and raise and appropriate money for additional street lights as follows :
(a) Increase lighting on Pole No. 33 at end of Hobbs Street. Pole No. 32 at corner of Harding and Hobbs Street, Pole No. 8, corner of Hill and Harding Streets, Village of Thorndike.
(b) Lights as necessary from School Street along Main Street to property of Joseph White, Village of Thorndike.
(c) Move light from Pole No. 2 to Pole No. 3 on Gates Street, Village of Thorndike.
(d) Lights as necessary to illuminate approaches to Burleigh Bridge, Village of Three Rivers.
(e) Light on Sharon Street, off North Street, Village of Three Rivers, in front of home of Edward Deras.
(f) Light on Pole No. 20 on North Street, Village of Three Rivers, near residence of Marciniec.
(g) Light on Pole No. 21-1/3 near residence of Theodore Borowiec, State Street, Village of Bondsville.
