Article 18. To see if the Town will vote to purchase for the Police Department new police cruisers, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.


Article 19. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate to the Planning Board a sum of money to be used to pre- pare a Master Plan that will include Land Use, Population, Econ- omic Base, etc., and said sum of money will be used in conjunc- tion with matching funds, if available, through the Housing Act of 1954, Title VII, Section 701, as amended, or take any action rela- tive thereto

To see if the Town will vote to transfer a parcel of land situate on the Northwesterly side of Rathbone Street, Depot Village, from the authority and control of the Cemetery Commissioners to the authority and control of the Board of Se- lectmen, which parcel of land is shown on "Plan of Land in Pal- mer, Massachusetts, surveyed for the Board of Selectmen, Decem- ber 1961 by Kenneth C. Sherman, Town Engineer" and more par- ticularly bounded and described as follows:

To see if the Town will vote to reconstruct Lud- low Road, Village of Three Rivers, from Anderson Avenue to Wilbraham Town Line, a distance of approximately seventy-five hundred (7500) feet, and raise and appropriate by taxation or otherwise any sum of money therefor, said sum to be used in con- junction with monies allotted by the Commonwealth of Massachu- setts and the County of Hampden, or take any action relative thereto.

Article 25. To see if the Town will vote to reconstruct Old Warren Road from the end of the present improved surface to the property of John Lizak and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.


Article 26. To see if the Town will vote to widen and re- surface Beech Street, Lake Thompson District, and raise and ap- propriate any sum of money therefor.


Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to improve Mason District Road from the end of the present improved surface at the intersection of Thompson Street and Robinson Road, North- erly, to the end of Mason District Road (Massachusetts Turnpike Barrier) and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.


Article 28. To see if the Town. will vote to reconstruct and resurface Wilson Street, Depot Village, from Fairview Street to North Main Street and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor, said sum to be used in conjunction with any monies al- lotted by the Commonwealth to the Town in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 782 of the Acts of 1962.


Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to complete gravel- ing the remaining upper part of Rondeau Road, a distance of ap- proximately four hundred (400) feet and also oil approximately one-half (1%) mile of said road and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.


Article 30. To see if the Town will vote to resurface High Street, Village of Thorndike, from the intersection of Commercial Street to Main Street and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor, said sum to be used in conjunction with any monies allot- ted by the Commonwealth to the Town in accordance with the pro- visions of Chapter 782 of the Acts of 1962.


Article 31. To see if the Town will vote to reconstruct and resurface High Street, Village of Three Rivers, from Palmer Street to Kelley Street and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.

To see if the Town will vote to reconstruct and resurface State Street, Village of Bondsville, from River Street to the B&M Railroad tracks and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor, said sum to be used in conjunction with any monies allotted by the Commonwealth to the Town in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 782 of the Acts of 1962.

Article 54. To see of the Town will vote to widen St. John Street, Village of Thorndike, and raise and appropriate any sum of money therefor.


Article 55. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appro- priate any sum of money for the construction of sewers, culverts and proper catch basins, or take any action relative thereto on the following projects :


(a) Storm sewer facilities as required to drain surface water on Buckland Street and Spring Street and a portion of Longview Street area.


(b) Suitable drainage on Beech Street, Lake Thompson dis- trict.


(c) Storm sewer at end of Norman Street, Depot Village.


(d) Sewage pump and sewer facilities at low point in high- way near entrance to Thorndike Mills, Inc. together with neces- sary discharge line to the end of the existing sewage line.


(e) Sanitary sewer in High Street, Depot Village, from the end of the existing sewer at Pinney Street to residence of Charles F. Sherman.


(f) Install three (3) catch basins between 168 and 210 Main Street, Village of Three Rivers.


(g) Sanitary sewer in South High Street, Village of Bonds- ville, from end of Crawford Street to Palmer Street.


Article 56. To see if the Town will vote to install, maintain and raise and appropriate money for additional street lights as follows :


(a) Light on Pole #1 on Norman Street, Depot Village.


(b) Light on Brown Street near North Main Street, Depot Village.


(c) Increase, as necessary, street lights on North Main Street from Shearers Corner to Randall Street, Depot Village.


(d) Increase, as necessary, street lights at corner of Wood- land Street and Rockview Street, Depot Village.


(e) Street light on Pole #36 at Railroad Crossing on Main Street, Village of Thorndike.


(f) Improve street lighting on Poles #6, #7, #8 and #9 on Church Street, Village of Thorndike.

Moran to the point of beginning.

Said street is to be known as Overlook Drive.


And you are hereby directed to serve this warrant by posting up attested copies thereof in some one public place in each of the four villages of the Town, known as the Depot Village, Thorndike, Three Rivers and Bondsville, seven days at least before the hoid-
