Report of the Trustees of the Punchard Free School.
To the Town of Andover :
The undersigned, Trustees of the Punchard Free School, in compliance with the fifth section of their act of incorporation, herewith render the fol- lowing account of the condition of the Fund belonging to said School, and of the receipts and expenditures thereof.
They have received of the Executors of the Last Will and Testament of Benjamin H. Punchard, Esquire, the full amount of the Legacy of Fifty Thousand Dollars, named in said Will. They have also received the sum of Twelve hundred and ninety-eight dollars and ten cents as interest, mak- ing the whole amount of receipts $51,298,10. They have now loaned on interest for which they hold, as they believe, ample security, the sum of forty-five thousand nine hundred dollars. The balance, being fifty-three hundred ninety-eight dollars and ten cents, is now on deposit to their credit in the Andover Bank.
