WARRANT FOR STATE ELECTION NOVEMBER 2, 1915
Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Norfolk, ss. To either of the Constables of the Town of Braintree, Greeting:
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the town of Braintree qualified to vote in elections therein, to meet at the Polling Places in their respective precincts, to wit : Polling Place in Precinct No. 1, Town Hall;

Polling Place in Precinct No. 3, Hose House, Allen Street ;
On Tuesday, the second day of November, 1915, at 5.45 o'clock in the forenoon, then and there to bring in to the Wardens of their respective Precincts their votes on the official ballot for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary, Treas- urer, Auditor, Attorney-General, Councillor, Senator, Repre- sentative in General Court, County Commissioner, Associate Commissioner, County Treasurer, Sheriff, nine Commissioners to apportion Suffolk County into Representative Districts.
Also to vote on the following questions on the same ballot :
Acceptance of Chapter 129, Resolves of 1915, entitled "Resolves to provide for submitting to the people the article of amendment of the constitution empowering the general court to authorize the taking of land to relieve congestion of population and to provide homes for citizens."
Acceptance of Chapter 130, Resolves of 1915, entitled "resolves to provide for submitting to the people the article of amendment of the constitution striking the word 'male' from the qualifications of voters."
Acceptance of Chapter 140, Resolves of 1915, entitled "Resolves to provide for submitting to the people the article of amendment of the constitution relative to the authority of the general court to impose taxes."
Acceptance of Chapter 189, General Acts of 1915, entitled "An Act to provide for the establishment and maintenance of an independent agricultural school in the county of Nor- folk."
The polls will be kept open until one o'clock in the after- noon.
You are directed to serve this warrant by posting true and attested copies thereof in not less than three public places in each Precinct in said Town seven days at least before the said second day of November, 1915, and by publishing the same once in the Braintree Observer-Reporter and Braintree Bee.
Hereof fail not and make due return of this warrant with

In accordance with the foregoing warrant, the voters assembled in their respective Precincts to cast their ballots for State and County Officers, and also to vote on the several amendments to the Constitution, etc., as enumerated on the Official Ballot.
The Official Ballots were delivered to the Wardens of the several Precincts by the Town Clerk and receipts taken therefor.
The polls were opened in all Precincts at 5.45 o'clock A. M., and were closed in all Precincts at 1 o'clock P. M.
