Under Article 3, upon motion of James P. Dunigan it was unanimously voted that the town borrow the sum of one thou- sand dollars on a promissory note to be signed in its name and behalf by the Town Treasurer for that amount payable in two instalments of five hundred dollars each in one and two years from the date of such note, with interest at a rate not exceed-

ing five per cent. per annum; said sum, or so much thereof as is needed for the purpose, to be expended under the direction of the Selectmen, 37 voted in favor and none opposed. At 9.30 P. M. voted to dissolve the meeting.

We have examined the accounts of the treasurer for the year ending February 28, 1907, and find his receipts and pay- ments properly entered and vouched for, and a balance of twenty-nine hundred and ninety dollars and five cents ($2,990. 05) in his hands.
We have examined the accounts of the Selectmen and find they have approved bills amounting to thirty-three thousand eight hundred and seventy-four dollars and sixty-eight cents ($33,874.68).
We have examined the accounts of the School Committee and find they have approved bills amounting to twenty thou- sand three hundred and fifty dollars and eighty-three cents ($20,350.83). All of these bills have been paid by the Treas- urer.
We have examined the accounts of the Town Clerk and find his receipts and payments properly vouched for.
