Under Article 3, upon motion of James P. Dunigan it was unanimously voted that the town borrow the sum of one thou- sand dollars on a promissory note to be signed in its name and behalf by the Town Treasurer for that amount payable in two instalments of five hundred dollars each in one and two years from the date of such note, with interest at a rate not exceed-

ing five per cent. per annum; said sum, or so much thereof as is needed for the purpose, to be expended under the direction of the Selectmen, 37 voted in favor and none opposed. At 9.30 P. M. voted to dissolve the meeting.
