REPORT OF TOWN FARM
The past year we have had eleven inmates at the alms- house.
Mr. and Mrs. Waldo Hannaford, after serving as Super- intendent of the Town Farm and Matron of the Almshouse for nine years, resigned March first, 1916. Mr. and Mrs. James Long were appointed to fill the vacant positions. They have worked faithfully for the interest of the Town, doing the best that they could to keep down expenses.
Mr. Long has proved to be a skilled farmer, a good manager and a hustler to work.
Mrs. Long keeps the house in good order and sees that the inmates have a healthy diet.
Mr. Long, being a skilled mechanic, has been able to do much about the buildings in the way of repairs at small cost to the Town.
