ARTICLE 51. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate the sum of $19,000.00 for the purpose of paying to Armand O. Lahaise his claim, or that of any party in interest as a result of a Land Taking for school purposes of property situated between Crooked Spring Road and Graniteville Road in Chelmsford; or act in relation thereto.


UNDER ARTICLE 51:


Mr. Vernon R. Fletcher moved that the Town vote to raise and ap- propriate the sum of $19,000.00 for the purpose of paying to Armand O. Lahaise his claim, or that of any party in interest as a result of a Land Taking for school purposes of property situated between Crooked Spring Road and Graniteville Road in Chelmsford.


It was unanimously voted.

ARTICLE 52. To see if the Town will vote to instruct the Board of Assessors to use the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars $200,- 000.00), or some other sum, from Free Cash in the Treasury for the reduction of the 1964 Tax Rate; or act in relation thereto.


UNDER ARTICLE 52:


Mr. Richard T. McDermott moved that the Town vote to instruct the Board of Assessors to use the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dol- lars ($200,000.00), from Free Cash in the Treasury for the reduction of the 1964 Tax Rate.


It was so voted.

In the name of the Commonwealth aforesaid, you are hereby re- quired to notify and warn the inhabitants of said Town who are quali- fied to vote in Primaries to meet in their several polling places, viz:


Precinct 1. McFarlin School cafeteria, Chelmsford Center.


Precinct 2. Town Hall, North Chelmsford.
