The Savings Bank Book of the Treadwell Fund has not been presented at the bank for adjustment of interest since last yhar, hence the amount remains the same.

In conclusion I would say that I have found a satisfac- tory voucher for each and every sum paid out, and the books kept in a neat and systematic manner.

Yours respectfully,

JAMES DAMON, Auditor.

Class Ode.

School days so happily spent are o'er, We greater tasks must now pursue; Each noble aim above doth soar, We'll strive our best to do.

Future pathways stretch on before,

Some of them gloomy, some of them bright; But we will follow each path as it leads, For all will end with light.

Hand in hand we have climbed together, Mingling toil with frequent pleasure; Deserving victories we have won, But life's greatest struggles are yet to come.

Farewell, kind teachers and classmates so dear; Though we know not what life has in store, Still let us hope to once more be united On that Eternal Shore.

The following statement of the Auditor should have ap- peared at the end of the financial account of the school committee:

This is to certify that I have carefully examined and ap- proved the bills of the School Department monthly before they were paid. JAMES DAMON, Auditor.

Feb. 11, 1907.

At the time the committee's report was written it was believed that there would be a balance on hand sufficient to meet the full payments on the first of February. But this, unexpectedly, did not prove to be the case. The committee however kept within the appropriation for the year.
