Considerable headway has been made during the year in collecting the back taxes and, while the showing is not as good as we might wish for, we feel that the accounts were in shape to make a better record during the coming year. The unpaid tax for the year 1907 is on account of personal property as- sessed to the LeBaron Foundry Company and is, so I am in- formed, uncollectible as is also a similar tax for the years 1908 and 1909. The Collector appreciated the cordial response re- ceived in making the collections during the year and is pleased to note that so many of our tax payers pay so promptly and willingly.

Respectfully submitted,

ALBERT A. THOMAS,

Collector.
