AUDITOR'S REPORT.
.I have examined the accounts of the Supt. of Town Farm, Overseers of the Poor and the Selectmen and the Treasurer, George E. Gooding, and find the accounts correct and duly authenticated. I find in the Treasury seven notes signed by William P. Marble and David B. Hood for $275 each, due July 1, 1896, '97, '98, '99, 1900, 1901 and 1902. Also two fish notes signed by I. N. Babbitt and E. D. Perry, for $35 each. Balance in Treasury Feb. 10, 1896, $804.55.

ANNUAL REPORT.
TOWN MEETING.
To be held in Town Hall, Monday, March 2d, 1896, at 9 o'clock A. M., to act on the following articles :
1st. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
2d. To hear the annual reports of the Town Officers and act thereon.
3d. To choose all necessary Town Officers for the year ensuing, including an Auditor or Auditors and to vote yes or no on the question, "Shall licenses be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in this Town ?"
4th. To hear the report of the Committee to draw up a set of By-laws for the town and to adopt the same, or act there- o11.
5th. To raise such sums of money as may be necessary to defray Town charges for the year ensuing and appropriate the same.
6th. To hear the report of the Auditor and act there. ' on.
7th. To see if the Town will accept the list of Jurors prepared by the Selectmen or act thereon.
8th. To see if the town will allow a discount to persons making a voluntary payment of their taxes on or before some date that may be fixed by the Town and charge interest after a date the Town may fix.

10th. To determine the compensation to be paid and the manner of repairing the highways, town ways and bridges for the year ensuing.
11th. To determine the compensation of the Treasurer and Collector of Taxes.
12th. To see if the Town will instruct their Selectmen to hire a Superintendent of the Town Farm for the year suc- ceeding their term of office.
13th. To choose three Fish Wardens.
14th. To choose three Oyster Wardens.
15th. To see if the Town will raise and appropriate a sum of money to purchase books for the public library and act thereon.
16th. To hear the report of the Selectmen on the polu- tion of Taunton River by the present and proposed sewerage system of the City of Taunton and act thereon.
17th. To see what action the Town will take in relation to the fare charged on the Dighton, Somerset and Swansea Street Railway within the Town limits.
