At a special Town Meeting held July 6, 1915, Charles S. Chase was elected Moderator.
Voted that the Town take by eminent domain land for school purposes bounded and described as follows:
Commencing at the North West Corner of School House lot situated on Elm St. in Dighton running westerly 122 feet to a corner, thence 89 feet southerly to a wall for a corner, thence easterly 118% feet to a corner, thence northerly 7250 feet to a point of beginning containing 9468 square feet agreeable to a survey and plat made by Elmer D. Robinson June 29, 1915.
