The regular Annual Meeting was held on March 2, 1931, Charles S. Chase was chosen Moderator by ballot.

Voted that labor on highways be paid at $3.00 per day and that we pay for trucks as follows:

Voted to accept the report of the Town Officers as printed.


Voted to authorize the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen to borrow money from time to time in anticipation of the revenue of the Town for the financial year January 1, 1931 to January 1, 1932 and to issue a note, or notes, therefor, payable within one year; any debt or debts incurred under this vote to be paid from the revenue of this financial year.


Voted to pay Town Officers same as last year and that the Clerk, Treasurer and Collector be bonded by the Century Indemnity Company; the Treasurer and Collector to be bonded for $15,000 each and the Clerk for $1,000.


Voted to grant the Collector the same power in making collections as possessed by the Treasurer.


The Finance Committee was appointed by the Moderator as follows: Joseph K. Milliken, Henry C. L. Lincoln, Warren L. Ide, Charles C. Marble, Joseph P. Dupont, J. Willis An- drews and Viriato Monteiro.


At the adjourned Annual Meeting held Apr. 1, 1931, voted to raise and appropriate $1000 to pay bills contracted in 1930.


At the adjourned meeting held July 1, 1931, voted to raise and appropriate $600 for Old Age Assistance and $150 for Forest Fire department.


At a special meeting held on Nov. 5, 1931, Charles S. Chase was chosen Moderator by ballot.


Voted to transfer from Reserve Account $700 to pay bills contracted in 1930 and to transfer $300 to the Highway Ac- count.


Voted to authorize the Selectmen to sell the Williams and Flat Rock school-houses.


Voted to authorize the Selectmen to sell the fishing privi- leges at public auction, and they were sold one to Howard C. Briggs and one to Dwight F. Lane for 52c. each.


At the adjourned Special Town Meeting it was voted to transfer the following amounts to the Reserve Fund: from Police account, $150; from Board of Health, $100; from In- cidentals, $100; from Fire Department, $100; from Interest account, $435; from Old Age Assistance account, $100; from
