ANNUAL REPORT

In early October, a 1750 gallon tank truck was pur- chased. This truck was used to supply water to a great number of townspeople during the bad dry conditions. Firefighters of the North Station donated their time to drive and deliver water through the town until December 24, 1957.

Drills on various phases of fire fighting were held monthly and were well attended.

I wish to express my appreciation to the Town Officials and the Citizens of the Town for their assistance and fine cooperation in keeping the fire losses down during the year.

Respectfully submitted, DONALD B. HATHAWAY, Chief of Dighton Fire Dept. and Forest Warden.
