THE THIRTY-NINTH ANNUAL REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES OF
TAFT PUBLIC LIBRARY.
The Trustees are pleased to report another successful year in the history of the Library.
The gifts of magazines and books during the year has been greatly appreciated, and in behalf of the citizens the Trustees wish to thank all who contributed in any way to the welfare of the Library.
Your Trustees would call the attention of the citizens to the report of the Finance Committee. With only the actual necessary running expenses and many hours of earnest work given freely by those interested in its welfare there is a deficit of $30.11 in the Library funds. Your Trustees would recom- mend that the sum of $400.00 be appropriated for the year 1920.
We are also pleased to mention the generous gifts by Mrs. Rosa F. Taft of Uxbridge of the Chapel building (so- called) and the sum of $500.00, to be expended toward fitting it into a library, and with the $800.00 appropriated by the Town your Trustees hope to have the structure put into suita- ble shape for a convenient and attractive home for our Libra- ry early in the year.
Respectfully submitted,
CARL M. TAFT, FREEMAN C. LOWELL, EDWIN L. WILSON, Trustees of Taft Public Library.
