Article 26. To see what action, if any, the Town will take with respect to its rights and interests in the estate of Samuel B. Taft, late of Uxbridge, Massachusetts, whether as a legatee under his will, or of whatever character or nature they may be.


Article 27. To see if the Town will vote to have a street light installed in front of the High School building, and appropriate the sum of $16.00 for the maintenance of same, or take any action in relation thereto.


Article 28. To see if the Town will vote to accept Chapter 48, Sections 42 and 43 of the General Laws.


Article 29. To see if the Town will vote to have the Highway Surveyor appointed by the Board of Selectmen, in- stead of being elected by ballot as at the present time.


Article 30. To see what action, if any, the Town will take with respect to a legacy of one hundred ($100.) dollars left to the Town of Mendon under the will of J. Stuart Cox, late of Bellingham, Mass. for the following purpose: "to expend the income annually for the care of my father's (John S. Cox) and Joseph Bates' lot and my lot in the Bicknell Cemetery, so-called, located in the Easterly part of Mendon, Massachusetts."

And you are directed to serve this warrant by posting up an attested copy thereof at the Post Office in said Mendon and causing a copy to be published once in the Milford Daily News, a newspaper published in Milford, Mass., both said posting and publication to be at least seven days before the time of the meeting hereby ordered to be held.


Hereof fail not, and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon to the Town Clerk of said town before the time of meeting aforesaid.
