To see what method the Town will vote to adopt toward financing the appropriations which have been voted at this meeting for the extension of water mains; determine whether the appropriation shall be provided by taxation, by transfer from available funds in the treasury or by issuance of a loan and to act fully thereon.
Accepted and adopted with the recommendation that the Treasurer with the approval of the Selectmen be and hereby is authorized to borrow the sum of $112,800.00 to carry out the provisons of Articles 46, 48, 49, 50 and 51, and to issue bonds or notes of the Town therefor-said bonds or notes to be pay- able in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 44, of the General Laws, so that the whole loan shall be paid in not more that 15 years, or such earlier date as the Treasurer and Selectmen shall determine.

To see if the Town will accept the layout of Pleasant Bay Road in East Harwich leading from Route #137 in an easterly direction to Route #28 as reported and recommended by the Selectmen under date of January 25, 1954 and to authorize and instruct the Selectmen to take by purchase or eminent domain the lands, or interest in the lands, within said layout, and to raise and appropriate a sufficient sum of money for this purpose and to act fully thereon.

1952, approved by the Attorney General's Office June 2, 1952 and made effective June 23, 1952 and with extension amend- ments and changes adopted at the annual town meeting February 10, 1953 approved by the Attorney General's Office April 8, 1953 and made effective June 3, 1953 to include those areas known as Harwich Center, North Harwich, Pleasant Lake and that portion of East Harwich not now covered as shown on a revised By-Law map to be filed with the Town Clerk. Said extension to operate under the rules and regula- tions of the present By-Law, and to make the following exten- sion amendments to and changes in the Protective By-Law for the Town of Harwich.
Under Section 1 "Establishments of Districts"; delete the first paragraph and substitute the following: "Establish- ment of Districts: In accordance with Chapter 40 of the General Laws, Sections 25-30B and subsequent amendments thereto, the Town of Harwich is hereby divided into three types of Districts designated as (a) Commercial Districts, (b) Industrial Districts and (c) Residential and Agricultural Districts. Above districts are being located as shown on the Protective By-Law map for the Town of Harwich and is dated and filed with the Town Clerk. They are as follows:"
Under "(a) Commercial Districts", delete the first para- graph and substitute the following: "Commercial Districts shall extend not more than two hundred (200) feet back from the street lines at right angle with owners property actually facing the following streets:"
