The presiding officer delivered to the Town Clerk all said ballots cast, all undistributed ballots and the voting lists, sealed as aforesaid, together with the ballot box, in accord- ance with the law in such cases made and provided.


On motion the meeting was dissolved at 8 o'clock P. M. A true record.

The Clerks of the towns of Bellingham, Foxborough, Franklin, Medway, Norfolk and Wrentham, comprising the Norfolk Representative District, number eight, at their meet- ing at the Town Hall, in said Franklin, on Friday, the thir- teenth day of November, A. D. 1896, at 12 o'clock noon on said day, being the tenth day following the day of the elec- tion, made out under their hands the following complete returns of all votes cast for Representatives to the General Court in said district, as follows, viz :


Whole number of votes cast, including blanks and scatter- ing, five thousand four hundred and forty-eight-5,448.


Ezra C. Comey of Foxborough had five hundred and thirty-one votes-531.


Jefferson Cushing Gallison of Franklin had sixteen hun- dred and seventy-eight votes-1,678.


Henry E. Madden of Medway had four hundred and eighty-two votes-482.


Daniel S. Woodman of Medway had fourteen hundred and ninety-seven votes-1,497.
