AUDITOR'S REPORT.
During the past year all bills paid have been first examined and approved by the Auditor, and in July an examination and comparison of the Valuation and Com- mitment Books was made, as required by the By-Laws At the close of the financial year, there remains in the Treasury a balance of twelve hundred thirty-one and 58/100 dollars (1231.58), and upon examination of the accounts of the Treasurer and of the several collectors of taxes, I find the same correct, and items of expendi- ture vouched for.

REPORT OF INSPECTOR OF ANI- MALS AND PROVISIONS.
FROM JAN. 1, 1900, TO JAN. I, 1901.
One general inspection has been ordered by the Cattle Commissioners with the following results. Cows in milk 221, cows dry 39, young stock 50, swine 136. Of the above named none showed physical signs of disease. One hog was condemned as unfit for food and was bur- ied.
SLAUGHTERHOUSE INSPECTION.
38 1 cattle have been killed at the Licensed Slaughter- houses and inspected, of which two have been found diseased and sent to rendering works, 63 hogs have been inspected and no disease found.

COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS,
MIDDLESEX SS.
To William E. Swain, Constable of the Town of Wilmington.
GREETING :
In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and in the manner provided in Sect. 2, Art. I, of the By- Laws, you are hereby directed to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Wilmington qualified by law to vote in town affairs, to meet and assemble at the Town Hall, on Monday, the fourth day of March next, at nine o'clock in the forenoon, the polls to be opened at ten o'clock A. M., and may be closed at four o'clock P. M., for the election of officers, and to act upon the follow- ing articles, namely :
ART. I. To elect by ballot a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
ART. 2. To bring in your votes on one ballot for three Selectmen, "who shall act also as Assessors and Overseers of the Poor," Town Clerk, Treasurer, Col- lector of Taxes, one School Committee for three years, Constable, Auditor, three Fence Viewers, one Cemetery

Committee for three years, one Cemetery Committee to fill vacancy for remainder of term of three years from the first Monday of March, 1899, also to vote upon the following question, viz .: Shall license be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquors in this town? Yes or No.
ART. 3. To choose all other necessary town officers for the year ensuing.
ART. 4. To hear reports of Committees and act thereon.
ART. 5. To see how much money the town will vote to raise and appropriate for the support of schools, for school books and supplies, for salary of School Com- mittee, for salary of Superintendent of Schools, for highways, roads and bridges, for support of poor, for repairs of public buildings, for care and improvement of cemeteries, for support of public library, for police, for salary of town officers, for removing snow, for miscel- laneous expenses, for printing, for notes payable, for interest, for state and county taxes, for outstanding in- debtedness, for abatement of taxes, and military aid.
ART. 6. To see what method the town will adopt for the collection of taxes and dertermine the compensation of the Collector.
ART. 7. To see if the town will authorize the Treasurer, under the direction of the Selectmen, to bor- row money in anticipation of the taxes of the present municipal year.
ART. 8. To see how much money the town will raise and appropriate for the observance of Memorial Day.

ART. 9. To see if the town will vote to adopt the provisions of Sections 20 and 21, of Chapter 50 of the Public Statutes, in regard to the establishment and grading of sidewalks.
ART. IO. To see if the town will vote to accept the list of jurors as revised by the Selectmen.
Hereof, fail not and make due return of this warrant with your doings thereon, to the Town Clerk at time and place of said meeting.
