The Selectmen doe ord' yt a Towne Mr Batters Capt Curwin Mr wm Browne Mr Samll Gardnr Mr B: Gedny Jno Pickring Jno Price meeting bee Warned upon ye next Lecture day, to bee upon ye Saturday following | att 9 of ye Clock | To raise a towne rate, to defray Such Charges as are disburst upon ye Towne, & alsoe to giue notice, to all psons that haue disburst any thing upon ye fortification, to bring In their accts to ye Com- mitty of millitia : ye next thirsday att eight of yo Clock, Att M' Gednies house, yt Soe ye Same may bee Com- pleated, to bring In to ye Towne rate on Saturday follow, ing ; & yt ye Towne may Consider Something, about ye disposall of Some strips of Land found among ye farmes ; & alsoe wt Is necessary to bee done about ye Land on Ryall Side, recouered from ye Town Last Ipswich Court & for ye Towne to Consider wheither itt may nott bee Conueniant to remoue ye Towne house, & alsoe yt ye Towne may bee Enformed how far ye Selectmen haue acted In ord' to Settling ye Schoolemasters maintainance.
