the bridge in maner followinge to make a fufficyent wall | of stone | on the eaft fide of three foote thick at the bottom and 20 inchis at the topp and the foundation of it to be laide one foote within the grounde and in hithe it is to be as high as the hieft banke of the bridge neare the fluce and acordinge to the hithe of the wall they are to fill vpp the whole bridge levell with fande and on the topp of it to lay good hard grauill three or foure inchis thick all ouer the whole bridge and to couer the wall with good turfe of Englifh grafs from end to end for the which worke beinge fufficyently pformed they are to be pd twentie pounds.
