"The well-known Printing, Lithographing, Engraving and Bookbinding establishment of Isaac Friedenwald-William Deutsch, manager-occupying the mammoth six-story build- ing, No. 32 South Paca Street, is not only unquestionably the largest and best equipped in the South, but in the varied and high character of its work and the extent of its facilities ranks among the foremost in the United States. It was started about ten years ago asa very hum- ble job-printing office, employing only four hands, and since then its growth and devel- opment has been so steady and rap- id, that now it is capable of undertaking the most extensive and trying orders in any of its numerous branches of work, with the guar- antee of a superior and prompt execution. Its various de- partments are all operated on an extensive scale, and are equipped with latest improved machines and appliances, so as to insure the highest quality of work at a minimum cost of production. The reputation of this concern las deserv- edly spread far beyond the limits of Baltimore, and it counts among its patrons many large firms, corporations and insti- tutions in nearly every section of the country, who appre- ciate its enterprise and superior productions."
