Is neither an old line company nor an assessment company, but operates a system of its own, known as the " Fouse Plan," which embraces the STRONG POINTS OF ALL OTHERS, while it eliminates their weak points.

The amount that can be appropriated for the expense of management is limited, and is so stated in the policy contract. The insurance funds are kept separate and distinct from the expense fund, and can only be used for the payment of death losses and commuted paid-up policies.

Under this system during the past twelve years, the Fidelity has effected a saving to its policy holders of 50 PER CENT. as compared with the cost of old line companies; has paid over $1,000,000 in death losses ; made provision to pay over $27,000,000 more, and has a cash surplus of more than twenty- eight times the ascertained liabilities.

Its policies are plain and untechnical, incontestable after five years, having a surrender value after seven years, and are guaranteed on the same principle as Government bonds are guaranteed. The special features of the Fidelity policy are to provide PROTECTION to the family of the member during his producing years, and CASH for himself in his old age.
