THE JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL.
This Hospital was established and endowed by the late Johns Hopkins, and is in course of erection upon the site of the old Maryland In- sane Asylum. The grounds front on Broadway and Wolfe streets, each 650 feet ; and on Monu- ment and Jefferson streets, each 900 feet.
This Hospital is for the reception and treat- ment of the sick and injured, free of charge, and is designed to accommodate 300 persons. It is richly endowed, and promises to be one of the largest and best hospitals in our country.
There is to be a convalescent hospital and a training school for nurses, established by the same benefactor, under same Board of Trustees.
