The largest size has a very large chute 10 inches square, especially adapted to take in very large substances, such as Oil Cake, as it comes from the PRESS-Ear Corn, Roots, Rhubarb, Charcoal, &c. It weighs about 1,200 pounds, has 24-inch Plates, Pulleys 14 inches in diameter, 8 inch face; requires from 10 to 12 horse power, Steam or Water, revolutions 800 to 1,000 per minute: capacity 35 to 50 bushels Ear Corn per hour.
