S. currency, checks, coupons, postal money orders and money orders of any of the express companies. Currency or coupons should be sent either by express or by registered mail. . Checks and money orders and bank books can be sent safely by ordi- nary mail. Checks and money orders should be made payable to PORTLAND SAVINGS BANK, directly or by endorsement.
Money may be withdrawn by sending in the bank book and a letter stating how much is wanted and how the amount shall be forwarded, whether by check or money order or, if currency is desired, directing whether it shall be sent by express or by registered mail.
