ONE OPERATOR.
While the operator jacks one boot or shoe two others are being burnished. The capaci of the machine is limited only by the ability of the operator. In other words, it will burnis s many shoes as the most active man can jack. The first machine set at work distinct proved that one operator on this machine can do as much burnishing as three operators hree single-jack Tapleys, or fifty per cent. more than one operator can do on the Twi There are exceptional cases where an operator on the Twin machine is handling a larg mount of work than can be thoroughly burnished. In such cases the Triplet would be peculiar utility, as the quality would be greatly improved by the shoes remaining half as lor gain under the action of the burnishing tool.
OTHER AUTOMATIC BURNISHERS, SINGLE AND TWIN.
A very desirable finish at low cost can be produced by burnishing the heel once on th Tapley, followed with wax applied with a brush and set with a silesia-covered fe wheel.
