The proprietor of THE UNION begs leave to announce to the citizens of Minnesota that the experiment of publishing a straight `forward independent Republican newspaper in St. Paul has proved & decided succes3.
THE DAILY UNION
Will contain the very latest Telegrams received up to the hour of going to press, the latest news by mail, contributious from able writers in our own State, spicy correspondence from abroad, and the latest Com- mercial News. while especial attention will be given to the local interests of the City and State at large.
THE WEEKLY UNION
Will contain the cream of the Daily edition. It is a handsome. large thirty two column paper, without scarcely an advertisement, and published every Thursday.
The political sentiments of the editor and proprietor are so well known that it is almost unnecessary for him to state that the Union is pledged to the suppression of the rebellion by every means in the power of the Govern- ment, and the most constant and hearty support of the President in his Proclamation of Emancipation.
