First Ward-The First Ward is composed of all the territory in the city situated east and north of a line beginning at a point on the south bank of the Missouri river in the center of Adams street, running thence with the center of Adams street to the intersection with MeCarty street; running thence with the center of MeCarty street to its in- tersection with Jackson street ; running thence with the center of Jackson street and the extension of said line to the city limits on the southern boundary of the city.
