A complete line of towels, wash clothes, bath mats, beach sheets, as well as women and men's suiting, drapery materials, up- holstering, and flannels are manufactured and finished there. Among the modern finishing methods used, sanforizing is perhaps the best known.

The Cascade Rayon Mills, a division of the Burlington Mill Corpor- ation, are located just outside the city limits. Cascade Mills manufacture beautiful crepe and taffeta materials, using the finest rayon yarns.

An up to date foundry and machine shop operates in Mooresville, manufacturing hydraulic presses and all types of textile machinery parts.
