STREET DIRECTORY OF Asheville, North Carolina
EXPLANATION.
All streets, Avenues, etc., are arranged in alphabetical order. The numbers of the houses are arranged in order of sequence from one to the limit of the street, and the name of the occupant is given opposite each number. This department of the Directory also shows the starting point and direction of each street and Avenue, the intersecting streets and the points at which they intersect. The occupations of a few of the business and professional men have been inserted after their names. However, this was due to a misunderstanding of one of the canvassers and time has not been allowed for correction.
For the occupation of house holders, please refer to alphabeti- cal list of names.
Court square is the central point of the City. College street and Patton Avenue divide the northern and southern sections of the City; North and South Main streets divide the eastern and western sections of the city.
Rogers' Asheville Is the VIEW BOOK for the Tourist.
