Court meets at Raleigh on the first Monday in February and the fourth Monday in August of each year.
Requirements and Course of Study for Applicants for License to Practice Law.
Each applicant must have attained the age of twenty-one years, and must have studied Ewell's Essentials, 3 volumes Clark on Corporations; Schouler on Executors; Bispham's Equity ; Clark's Code of Civil Procedure; Volume 1 Code o North Carolina ; Constitution of North Carolina; Constitu tion of the United States; Creasy's English Constitution Sharswood's Legal Ethics.
Each applicant must have read law for two years at least and shall file with the clerk a certificate of good mora character, signed by two members of the bar, who are prac ticing attorneys of this court.
Examinations for license to practice law are held on the first Monday in February and the fourth Monday in Angus of each year. The examinations are in writing.
Applicants must deposit with the clerk of the Supreme Court, before they are examined, the sum of $22.00 ($20.00 of which is the tax due the State and $2.00 for the printer who prepare the parchment upon which the certificate o admission to the bar is made). The money will be refunded upon failure to obtain license.
All applicants, inelnding attorneys from other States, ar required to undergo the written examinations.
