Seven star routes emanate from the Asheville Post Office, with terminals at Bryson City, Leicester, Mars Hill and Weaverville,, Oteen and Rutherfordton N .C, and Spartanburg S C


Five rural routes are served from Asheville as follows


No 1 from main office, serving Beaverdam, ,Weaverville Highway and Burnsville Hill No 2 from main office, serving Chunn Cove, Haw Creek, and vicinity of Oteen


No 3 from West Asheville Station. serving outskirts of West Asheville, Biltmore Estate, Inanda, ,Cowans Cove and Haywood Road to Cove Road No 4 from main office, serving County Home Road, Craggy and Lei- cester Road


No 5 from Biltmore Station, serving part of Fairview Road, Gashes Creek section, and Hendersonville Highway to Busbee


Ten mail trains arrive at Asheville daily, and ten mail trains depart from Asheville daily


The Asheville post office serves ap- proximatelv 75,000 patrons


No delivery on Sunday except of matter bearing special delivery stamps


Collections of mail from street mail boxes made by all carriers on regular trips and by special mail collectors at 12:30 and 1:15 p m; last collection made at 8:30 p m (business district)
