Report of School Board
The schools in No. 4 and No. 8 have been very well during the past year. The teachers tried to do their best for the scholars. As for No. 9, the board has nothing to say. It was bad enough, so they feel it is better to let it rest. But for all the drawbacks, the board feel that they ' have done their best to have as good schools in town as they could have with the money raised for such purpose.
The school board recommend to the selectmen to assess the following sums of money:
High school tuition $125.00
Text-books and supplies 75.00
Salaries of district officers 50.00
