STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE.


T'o the inhabitants of the town of Chesterfield, in the county of Cheshire, in said State, qualified to vote in town affairs :


You are hereby notified to meet at the town hall, in said town on Tuesday, the ninth day of March next, at nine o'clock in the forenoon, to act upon the following subjects :


ARTICLE I. To choose a clerk for the year ensuing.


ART. 2. To choose all necessary town officers for the en- suing year.


ART. 3. . To see what sum of money the town will raise for the support of schools, in addition to what is required by law, or act thereon.


ART. 4. To see what sum of money the town will raise to be worked out on the highways, or act thereon.


ART. 5. To see what sum of money the town will raise to defray town charges.


ART. 6. To determine the method of collecting taxes.


ART. 7. To see if the town will instruct the selectmen not to appoint an agent for sale of spirituous liquors for the ensuing year.


ART. 8. To see what sum of money the town will raise for the support of the town library, in addition to what is already required, or act thereon.


ART. 9. To see if the town will vote to purchase a new road scraper for the west part of the town, or act thereon.


ART. 10. To see if the town will vote to raise the sum of $40 to be expended memorial day, or act thereon.


ART. II. To see if the town will vote to erect flag poles at each school house in town, where schools are held.


ART. 12. To see if the town will vote to instruct the school board to paint and repair the outside of the Academy in district No. 5, or act thereon.


ART. 13. To transact any other business that may come before the said meeting legally.
