The above and foregoing is an Invoice and Assessment of Taxes upon the Polls and Estates of Residents and Non-Residents, liable to be taxed in the Town of Jaffrey on the first day of April, 1886, for the year 1886.

Witness our hands this fourteenth day of May, 1886.

JOSEPH W. FASSETT, JULIUS CUTTER, of

Selectmen

FRED J. LAWRENCE, Jaffrey.

We, the Selectmen of the Town of Jaffrey, do solemnly swear that in making the Invoice for the purpose of assessing the forego- ing taxes, we appraised all taxable property at its full value, and as we would appraise the same in payment of a just debt, due from a solvent debtor. So help us God.

JOSEPH W. FASSETT, Selectmen JULIUS CUTTER, of

FRED J. LAWRENCE, Jaffrey.

CHESHIRE SS., May 14, 1886.

Then the above named Joseph W. Fassett, Julius Cutter, and Fred J. Lawrence, personally appeared and made oath that the above statement by them subscribed is true, to the best of their knowledge and belief.

Before me, GURLEY A. PHELPS, Justice of the Peace.
