Explanation : After the name of Allen, Adams, farmer, rd 1, Ravena, Coeymans Township (In Albany County) appears H8. Now refer to map and you will find that the road numbered 8 in Coeymans Township is the road upon which Mr. Allen has his residence. By this plan you can locate any farm included in this book.
