# Syracuse. It is a well known fact that the City of Syracuse is taking the lead of the inland eitles in many departments of Trade. Her Whole-ale Boot & Shoe Trades Houses are numerous in all the branches of staple produce, and amony adorns one side of the store, while sufas and stools c found nt intervals through the center. At the rear is a lan. purchasers may see their feet "as others see them." them are many who are considered among the most honorable and re- liable of merchouts. The Retail Trade is also represented by gentle- men especially noted for their enterprise, thrift, gentlemanly bearing, and a general desire to please their customer -. Among the varlons branches of trade, perhaps none is better rep- resented than that of Boots and Shoes ; and among the many establish. ments of this kind probably none present more attractions to the cus- tomer than the Mammoth Store of Edwin A. Bennett & Co., No. 62 South Salina St. This palatial establishment is rightly named the " Parlor Boot and Shoe Store," and has an area of one hundred by twenty-two feet. The floors are covered with handsome Brussels car- pets, while beautiful chandeliers hang pendant from the ceiling. The interior is appropriately painted and papered in the most modern style. ' tidy office.) تلك تلك تلك بلاك تيت تين تبت تلك نسب بشك بتلك تر ir, where 's of the pray- store are provided with cases, drawers and shelves, det ly for the business, and are muisurpassed for style and co. .C.

In rear of the Salesroom is the Culting Departinco. over by that prince of boot makers, " Bryan J. O'Donnell,", ledged by all his friends and patrons to be the most scientific be er in this section of the State. He has made the urt of "St. C. his especial etndy, and those " who know " say that he can n boot which will fit a customer's foot perfectly without causing pa the wearer. For elegance of style and quality of stock need, no tablisinnent is better provided to suit its patrons. .

Without going into details in regard to the names or varieties of styles of good- to be found at this establishment, we would only re- mind the Cortland County reader that for anything in the line of fine work, where elegance and durability is desired, at moderate prices, for either foreign or domestic manufactured goods, or custom work to order, fail not to visit the " Parlor Boot and Shoe Store " of Edwin 4 Bennett & Co., 62 South Salina St., when you visit Syrsense, Sre c3: of interior of Store Inskle this short.
