DAY OR EVENING

Being centrally located, below City Hall, and within three blocks of the Great Bridge, all the principal lines of cars pass the door.

Our Rooms are large, with high ceilings, well ventilated, newly furnished with a separate desk and comfortable chair for each student, and in no place is comfort of the pupil more studied, and his moral training better attended La.

TO THE PUBLIC.

Let our intelligent citizens lend us their aid by patronage and encouragement in the future, as they have done in the past, and we will guarantee as thorough an education as can be obtained in any other place. We cordially invite parents and guardians to call. and visit the institution, and see our methods of teaching, that they may be able to judge for them- selves. We do not wish to make any vain boasts, but by the time we shall have been a quarter of a century before the public, we confidently trust that we shall need no other means of publicity than the recommendation of our pupils.

A WORD TO PARENTS.

Those who intend to give their children a good education, to prepare them for either a Business or Professional life, should embrace, at once, the opportunity now offered. The benefits to be derived from this Institution are many and great. The students being at home, will thus be under the immediate care of parents as well as of teachers. Large expense is saved, which always accompanies educational training at boarding-schools. Those intend- ing to take a complete course should enter as soon as possible, so that a correct method and habit may be acquired from the commencement.

ANNOUNCEMENT.

The Principal and Proprietor of this Institution, W. A. KISSICK, A. M., has been well known for the past 20 years, in the cities of New York and Brooklyn, as a successful teacher in preparing pupils thoroughly for business, and will be happy to refer strangers, by permission. to business men and gentlemen of the highest literary and social standing ; also to former and present pupils, many of whom he has been instrumental in placing in posi- tions of honor and emolument.

We have been 12 years in the present building.

. LADIES' DEPARTMENTS.

Separate apartments fitted for I adies and Misses, where they receive the same thorough instruction as gentlemen, in English and Commercial branches. Ladies or gentlemen pre- pared for examination as Teachers in any of the branches, at hours to suit.

THE DESIGN OF THIS INSTITUTION

Is to impart to all our students a thorough and complete business education, in the shortest time, at the least possible expense.

BRANCHES TAUGHT.

Book-keeping, Penmanship, Correspondence, Commercial Law, Business and Common School Arithmetic, Spelling, Grammar, Phonography, Type-writing, Telegraphy, German, French, and Spanish, or any other branch required to prepare for business.

DIPLOMAS.

All Students faithfully completing their course shall be furnished with Diplomas, which are often, in themselves, of more value to the Student than the sum paid as tuition fce.

NO CLASS SYSTEM.

There being no class system, Gentlemen and Ladies, whose early education has been neglected, will find with us superior advantages for reviewing and pursuing their studies in private. For backward boys and girls this is a rare opportunity, as no pains will be spared to bring them forward as soon as possible.

EMPLOYMENT.

Of the large number of Students who have taken a complete Commercial Course at this Institution, not one of them has failed to procure a situation through us or by them- selves.
