Books labeled "Seven Days" cannot be renewed. The same rule also applies to current magazines in circulation.
Other books may be kept two weeks, and may be renewed once for two additional weeks.
Books cannot be exchanged the day they are drawn.
No book can be drawn without the presentation of the borrower's card, nor while a fine or any claim for damages is due.
Borrowers are responsible for all books drawn on their cards.
A fine of three cents a day (including Sundays and holidays) must be paid on each volume kept over time.
Lost cards will be replaced after fourteen days' notice, on payment of ten cents.
Intentional injury to books or other library property incurs a fine by statute.
