Boulevard, cor. West 93d Street. COLORED HOME FOR THE AGED AND INDIGENT.
65th Street, below First Avenue. Organized 1839. CHILDREN'S AID SOCIETY,
No. 24 St. Mark's Place.
It sprang, as the first annual Report states,"from the increasing sense among our citizens of the evils of the city," relating to "vagrant, homeless and criminal children."
The Society finds for children homes in the West, lodging houses and industrial schools in the city ; and during the Summer heat sends thousands of children to the seaside and country. This charity should receive the support of every citizen in this city.
