V. B. PALMER'S AGENCY .- Opinions of the Press.
If any one wishes to learn the true Philosophy of Advertising, and to ascertain the incalculable advantages resulting from it we advise him to call on our friend V. B. Palmer, who will open his eyes to its benefits, and give him all necessary information on the subject. Mr. Palmer has long made this branch of education a study, and the whole subject is familiar to him. We venture the opinion that any man who ca Is upon Mr. Pahner will get some new ideas upon this important subject such ns he may think it strange he had not thought of before. The whole matter is simple enough, but yet the people are somewhat ignorant of it because they have not given to it that consideration its importance demands. A revolution in advertising is yet to take place, and when it does, the people will be surprised that it did not come somer .- Bist n Daily Mail.
This old established agency continues to enjoy the full confidence of the press and the public. Whatever is intrusted to Mr. Palmer or his agents is properly atteinled to, and, as the Press is under very great obligations to him, we are happy to know that he is enjoying the unlimited confidence, as he deserves the good wishes of those whom he has so long and so faithfully served. - Albany Evening Jurnal.
The business of advertising is imperfectly understood by merchants generally. Mr. Palner's great experience and extensive agency enable him to give very important and valuable suggestions in these matters to all who may favor him with an interview. The subject, as presented by him, is worthy the serious attention of all persons engaged iu active business.
From an intimate acquaintance with Mr. Palmer, we are prepared to say that any business connected with the Agencies which he advertises, will be both promptly and honorably transacted. In the matter of Newspaper Agencies, he has reduced the bust- ness to such an admirable system that all parties can hardly fail to be satisfied .- N. Y. Daily Tribune.
Mr. B. V. Palmer, the well-known Newspaper Agent, has for many years been en- gaged in the agency for receiving advertisements and subscriptions for almost every journal In the Union, having offices in Boston, New York, and Philadelphia : and one more indefatigable, and intelligent, in that kind of enterprise, does not exist. ITis infor- mation on all subjects connected with advertising, cannot be surpassed, and renders him of infinite service to editors, subscribers, and advertisers .- N. (). Picayune.
Mr. V. B. Palmer, American Newspaper and Advertising Agent, in the cities of Philadelphia, New York, and Boston, has been appointed ugent for receiving aud for- warding subscriptions and advertisements for this paper, at his office in those cities re- spectively. The general newspaper agency established by Mr. Palner in the ab we places has been in existence some time, and will, doubtless, be found convenient and ad- vantageous for all newspaper proprietors who shall think fit to avail themselves of it .- National Intelligencer.
'To such of our country cotemporaries as have not secured the services of an adver. tising agent in New York, we commend the old and well-established Agency of Mr. V. Palmer, in the Tribune Buildings. His business relations extend to nearly the entire press of the country ; and the promptitude with which his accounts are always adjusted, has secured for him the confidence of those who have had transactions with him .- Buffalo Courier.
Pahner's enterprise, accompanied as it is with untiring industry, clear-sightedness, indomitable energy, and unwavering perseverance, deserves the reward which we have never doubted he would eventually receive .- Philadelphia Ledger.
V. B. Palmer's plan of newspaper agency for advertising and subscriptions, is deserv- ing of patronage, both from the public and from the country press. Mr. Palmer has acted for the Union for five years, and we bear willing testim my to hus fidelity a id promptness. We feel that we should be doing him injustice were we to favor the estib' shment of na- other agency, conducted upon his plan, and the forms and ar agements st den, as it were from him. We shall accept of no'advertisements from any other agencies n N w York or B ston, and feel bound to protect Mr. Palmer, as much as possible, fro'n having the benefits of his plan taken from him by any one who may have surreptitiously availed himself of the forms and arrangements of Mr. Palmer, in the establishment of a similar agency .- Saco (Me.) Union.
