BRILLIANT SOCIAL FU CTIONS
0 WE their success largely to their en- vironment. The most modest "At Home" rises, artistically, to the plane of a more pretentious event, if the rooms are clothed in harmon- ious colors; if the right touch is vis- ible in the decorations; if the carpets and draperies blend-in fine, if the home reflects the delicate hand of " one who knows how. : : : : : :
There are beautiful homes in Toledo, mansions and modest cottages, mute but eloquent witnesses to the triumph of RADCLIFFE in the art of Interior Decorating. Our Curtains, Floor Coverings, Wall Papers and special pieces of art furniture were selected with the sole object of carrying out any pet scheme you may have. As you know, a house that can do this is rare. : : : : : : :
W! "ow no one to dispute with us the position of le. the art of Interior Decorating in Toledo.

This is a satisfactory laundry. We wash and iron delicate laces just as well as we do plain cloth. Everything is done just as you wish. If you ask us to iron the points of your collars down instead of up we make note of it -- and do it. Therein lies the secret of our success-atten- tion and care to small things.

Introductory Note.
T HIS Seventh Edition of the Toledo Blue Book goes forth on its mission of good fellowship, accompanied by the best wishes of the pub- lishers. Toledo has kept pace with her cotempo- raries, and has developed along social lines to such an extent that the Blue Book finds its mission even broader and its responsibilities greater year by year. The most painstaking care has been exercised in the following compilation. The social list of surround- ing towns has proved a valuable feature which we believe will grow in favor. These lists have been revised and enlarged in accordance with this appre- ciation.
May we add further, that the advertisers whose announcements appear in conjunction with the text proper, are making it possible to issue this work in its handsome form and at a price within the means of all of its patrons. These advertisers comprise the best business men in their respective lines, and we hope their business greetings may be freely consulted with profit to all concerned.
