National Life Insurance Company OF VERMONT.

A MODEL CONTRACT.

HE usual forms of life insurance contracts contain many objectionable features that have been the cause of dissatisfaction and disputes. There are other contingencies besides death and old age, for which they make no provision. Through long financial depression, everything may be lost. Health may become impaired. making it impossible to continue business. Occupation or position may be lost, thus cutting off all income. A fortune may be lost by endorsement or speculation. Under these circumstances, what becomes of the usual policy of insurance ? The insured is no longer able to keep it up, and yet at this very time he needs life insurance more than ever. To be sure, most com- panies would give a Paid-up policy, payable at death or some distant time in the future, but wherein is the insured benefitted by this ? Does it furnish money to start or help him in business ? No. Does it furnish money to meet living expenses ? No. Does it pro- duce an income ? No. In short, it renders no financial assistance whatever.

The Policy of the National Life Insurance Company of Vermont, provides for ALL THE ABOVE CONTINGENCIES, and can be paid for in ten, fifteen or twenty years, and con- tains the following Absolute Guarantees :

FIRST: It guarantees an Annual Cash Value, which after a certain period is in excess of all premiums paid. If the insured should not wish to terminate the insurance, the Company will loan the cash value and accept the policy as security This is a great advantage to a person who may need the money to protect credit and business.

SECOND: It guarantees a Paid-up Policy for such a sum as the cash value will purchase, the exact amount being specified in contract at time of issue. This Paid-up policy can be surrendered at any time for its full cash value or used as collateral for loan.

THIRD: It guarantees Extended Insurance for the Full Amount of policy for so long a time as the cash value will pay for it. This is a valuable option to many who may wish the policy carried for its full amount during a period of financial or physical misfortune.

ADVANTAGES OF THIS POLICY.

It protects the insured against adversity in business, as well as dependent ones against the contingency of death.

It is a safe and desirable investment, and in addition insures the life of the holder.

It guarantees that a certain amount of money will be accumulated in a specified time

The policy is negotiable for its cash value-the same as any bond or stock.

The policy is one of the most liberal in existence, as to Residence, Travel and Occupation, and is incontestable after three years, except for fraud.

The thousands of policies which lapsed or were surrendered during the last twenty years would have been saved by this Policy.

This policy is endorsed by the wealthiest and shrewdest bankers, merchants and lawyers of America.

The premiums paid, together with the accumulations thereon, can be used by the purchaser at an age when he is more likely to be dependent upon others than others upon him.

Under this policy you know exactly what you have, and if you need your money more than insurance, you can get it.

Under this policy you have Investment, Protection and the use of your Capital.
