DOBBINS' ELECTRIC SOAP
Is for sale everywhere, and has since 1869 been acknowledged by all to be
The Best Family Soap in the World
Its quality has never been changed since we first made it. We ask every woman using it to save the Outside Wrappers, and donate them to the Grace Bap- tist Church for the benefit of its Building Fund, as we have promised to pay cash for all the Outside Wrappers of our soap, they will collect and send to us. This will give needed financial assistance to this worthy cause.
The Housekeeper will find on a trial, according to directions, that the washing does not require HALF THE QUANTITY OF DOBBINS' ELECTRIC SOAP that it does of any other ; that there is a great saving of time and labor in its use ; that it saves the wear and tear of the clothes on the washboard, and does not cut or rot them to pieces, or hurt the hand, as adulter- ated soaps do.
It Disinfects Clothes Washed with it
leaving them thoroughly cleansed and sweet instead of adding a foul odor of rosin and filthy grease.
- It washes flannels without shrinking, leaving them soft and nice.
Respectfully,
I. L. GRAGIN & CO.
MANUFACTURERS DOBBINS' ELECTRIC SOAP, No. 119 S. 4th St. Philadelphia, Pa.

Church Covenant.
Having been led, as we believe, by the Spirit of God to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Saviour, and, on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, we do now, in the presence of God, angels, and this assembly, most solemnly and joy- fully enter into covenant with one another, as one body in Christ.
First .- We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit,. to walk together in Christian love.
Second .- To strive for the advancement of this Church, in knowledge, holiness, and comfort.
Third .- To promote its prosperity and spirituality ; to sus- tain its worship, ordinances, discipline and doctrines.
Fourth .- To contribute cheerfully and regularly to the sup- port of the ministry, the expenses of the Church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the gospel through all nations.
Fifth .- We also engage to maintain secret and family de- votion.
Sixth .- To religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances; to walk circum- spectly in the world.
Seventh .- To be just in our dealings, faithful in our engage- ments, exemplary in our deportment; to avoid all tattling, backbiting and excessive anger.
Eighth .- To be zealous in our efforts to advance the king- dom of our Saviour.
Ninth .- We further engage to watch over one another in brotherly love.
Tenth .- To remember each other in prayer; to aid each other in sickness and distress.
Eleventh .- To cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech ; to be slow to take offence, but always ready for reconciliation, and mindful of the rules of our„Saviour, to seek it without delay.
Twelfth .- We moreover engage that when we remove from this place, we will, as soon as possible, unite with some other Church, where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God's Word. .

Extract from Church Constitution.
Each member, whether in attendance upon our meetings or at a distance from us, is required to contribute, in some form, at least three dollars annually, to be paid quarterly (in advance) to the Trustees.
Said Trustees shall have power to collect, through the Board of Deacons, from the Poor Fund, the dues of any member, whom, in the exercise of a generous charity, they may have reason to believe are unable to pay the same.
Any member disclosing the private business of the Church to other than members, or circulating any report without ascer- taining the truth of such report, or taking the gospel steps, shall be dealt with as delinquent.
It is the duty of members to use their influence in every way to advance the cause of temperance, and to abstain from the use of intoxicating liquors as a beverage. Drunkenness shall always be a sufficient reason for the withdrawal of the hand of fellowship.
Belief.
We believe that the Bible is the Word of God and the only true rule of Faith or Creed. We believe it clearly teaches the sinfulness of man ; salvation only through Christ ; the just pun- ishment of the unrepentent wicked; and the duty to be bap- tized in water, thus imitating Christ's example and setting forth the holy symbol of His burial and resurrection.
