This Oil acts on the system with electricity, is of pure vegetable preparation, not the slightest danger of applying it outwardly or in- wardly, it at once gives a permanent cure, in most cases, from 10 to 20 minutes.

The best physiologists of Europe have discovered that all Organic Derangement in the Animal System is the effect of an obstruction of the Physico-Electro Fluid in the organ diseased-a skillful ap- plication of this Oil puts in immediate motion the nerve fluid, and the cure is at once accomplished. No bleeding, no vomiting, pur- ging, or blistering, is restored to.

CERTIFICATE.

BRANDYWINE MILLS, Aug. 1854.

We have now in operation in our Mills one of McFarlan & Carpenter's New Bran Dusters, and believe it is preferable to any other now in use. We have Johnson's also, and Frost and Monroe's in operation here. Werecom- mend the said Duster, with great confidence to the Millers ; believing it to be a great acquisition to the machinery of a Mill, as it thoroughly separates the flour from the bran, which cannot be done by the ordinary process of Bolting. The power to drive it is very small and of no consequence, not being preceptible in our Mills.

Wholesale Manufacturer of SIMES' PASTES of ICELAND MOSS and MARSHMALLOW, being

ISPENISINC CHEMIST

SCATTERGOOD

SAMUEL SIMES' PURE COD LIVER OIL.

NO KNOWN TEST will recognise pure Cod, from other fish liver oils, or even from extensivo sophistication with other oils. The character of the manufacturer is the only guarantee of genuineness.

COMMERCIAL OIL is seldom or NEVER pure; Hake, Pollock, Haddock, Dogfish, oven Seal, Lard, or Whale oils, con- stitute portions or wholly tha article usually supplied as Cod Liver Oil; jeopardizing the life of the patient and sapping the reputation of both vender and physician.

PERSONAL INVESTIGATION of the above facts induced me at considerable expense to supply my customers with an article of MY OWN MANUFACTURE. The extraordinary favor it has received ; its great superiority in quality, appear- ance, and effectiveness, have created a demand which enables me to give that personal supervision to its manufacture by which I am enabled to guarantee it absolutely pure and unequalled by any other.

My oil is separated from fresh and healthy Livers of the Cod alone, the same day the fish are eanght, by a process which yields it just as it naturally exists in the liver cells of the live fish; so bland and fresh, that the most sensitive palate will take it with pleasure; contradistinguished from all others by its unaltered naturel condition, by its per tect transparency, absolute purity, and freshness, it has received the patronage of the first physicians throughout the con- tinent, an award from the Franklin Institute of Philadelphia, and the medal at the World's Fair, London.

It is handsomely wrapped, in large bottles, each accompanied by an elaborate treatise, illustrative of its source, pre paration, properties, &c., &c., and carefully packed for transportation.

PURCHASERS AND CONSUMERS desirous of employing the pure tasteless Oil, should be very cautious in ot serving that my name is impressed upon every bottle, and my written signature in ruby ink upon every label.

A LIST OF PRICES, with my copy-righted illustrated treatise, will be furnished gratis to post-paid applicants.
