This society meets at Newmarket Hall on the first Tuesday in every montlı. Each person on being admitted a member, pays into the funds a sum agreeable to his age. If between the age of 21 and 25, three dollars-for every year, older 50 cents; but no person admitted whose age is more than 40 years. The monthly contributions of each member is 31 cents. Each person, after being one year a member, is entitled, if confined to his bed by sickness, to four dollars per week-and if his disorder be of a less serious nature, yet so as to incapacitate him from pursuing his professional business, he is entitled to receive three dol- lars per week. The above society was incorporated January 26, 1816.
