HAT he bath refided within the limits and under the jurisdiction of the United States for som years now laft paft and upwards-and one year thereof within the State of Pennsylvania, where he was actually refident on the twenty-ninth day of January, 1795-that he hath never borne any he- reditary title, or been of any of the orders of nobility, and that if he fwould by any means unknown to him, become aentitled to any fuch, he doth hereby expressly renounce the fame, and every claim and pre- tention thereto-that he wifbes to become a Citizen of the United States-he, therefore, humbly prays, That, on his taking the Oatt making the proofs, and complying with the requifites prefcribed by law, he may be admited to become a Citizen of the faid United States.
